What Causes Pain On The Left Side Of The Pelvic Area?

I have a pain on my left side in the pelvic area. It started last night when I was getting up off of the sofa. I have been working out at the gym daily and lifting heaver than normal. The pain is no constant it hurts if I move in a certain way or if I press on it.

Hi, I think it is a kind of muscle sprain. Take some pain killers and muscle relaxant also. It will help. If pain persists, consult a doctor. Don't move in that particular way in which pain increases and don't press it. It needs rest. Avoid heavy work for few days.
