What Causes Pain On The Middle Toe Upon Putting Weight On It?
I have a sharp, stabbing pain in my middle toe on my left foot which only hurts when I put weight on it. The pain is worse in the morning when I first get out of bed. The pain is on the underside of the toe at the tip...any thoughts? I saw a podiatrist who treated it with a cortisone injection. I was told there might be pain and/or bruising at the site of the injection. The injection did not help. Any thoughts?

It could be a contusion only.
As of now, you can use analgesics/anti-inflammatory combination like aceclofenac/serratiopeptidase for symptomatic relief.
If symptoms persist, it is better to consult a physician and get evaluated.
