What Causes Pain On The Right Side Just Below The Breast?

My 15 year old daughter has had pain on her right side just below her breast , gets worse after eating, wraps around to her back & has a mteallic taste in her mouth. Her right side also looks as if it is caving in (compared to the left). She is very tired after just a couple hours of being awake and can only lay on her right side comfortable. Has had ultrasounds, blood and urine tests and nothing coming back thus far. This has been going on for nearly 2 weeks now and with no relief.

Pulmonologist 's  Response
Thanks for your question on Health Care Magic.
I can understand your concern.
In my opinion, you should consult pulmonologist and get done
1. Clinical examination of respiratory system
2. Chest x ray.
Possibility of right sided pleural effusion is more in her case.
So chest x ray is needed. If chest x ray is normal then no need to worry for pleural effusion.
Her pain is worsening after eating.
So possibility of gastritis is also there. So ask her to avoid hot and spicy food, avoid stress and tension.
Give her proton pump inhibitors. Avoid large meals, instead take frequent small meals.
Don't worry, she will be alright.
Hope I have solved your query.
Wishing good health to your daughter. Thanks.
