What Causes Pain On The Right Side Of The Back?

One side of my upper back sticks out a little farther than the other side. I have pain in the right side which causes me to slump a little when I get tired. A physical therapist told me the name of the problem and that it was genetic. I can t remember what she called it and she has moved away. My husband says to just stand up straight but I can t seem to get that good posture. What is the name of this condition and what can I do about it? If this is going to cost me just tell me. I can t afford to pay

Hello.,
Welcom to Healthcaremagic.com.
The condition as per your discretion seems to me kyphoschliosis( can't be sure if you would have uploaded a picture) there is little to major skeletal changes in colum and shoulders.
If it is too much it is treated surgically and it will cost you lot.
If it is mild you don't need to go for treatment and health wise it will never cost you.

Hope it will help you.
Regards......
