What Causes Pain On The Right Side Of The Chest?

I am currently taking pylera and omoprozole for h.pylori. today I experienced a pain in my chest, on the right side. It is a dull and at times I feel a sharp stinging pain and pressure there. I used a warm compress and at first it helped but now I still feel the pain and pressure even if I have a warm compress on it. What could be the cause? Should I call my doctor or do the medication? Also can I take vitamins and probiotics with the medication? Thank you

Hi welcome to HCM.
Chest pain in your case most likely to result from GERD/acid reflux secondary to Hpylori gastritis.I advice you to have an upper gastro intestinal endoscopy to rule out peptic ulceration. drugs like Sompraz 14 day course is quite effective in eliminating the h pylori.Urease breath testing UBT after 6 weeks can help assess the elimination of h pylori.Probiotics and vitamins are not effective in eliminating the organism.Consult your doctor for further help.
Thank you
