What Causes Pain On The Side And Back After Injury?

I fell down my stairs: heels slid off then body turned toward right & side hit first then shoulder then landed at bottom of stairs (about 9 steps). Right side & back hurt plus some stomach pain. Hurts when I try to lay on side or move around. I have had a cracked rib before but this pain isn t same. Do you think I could have bruised my liver? Should rest be cure?
