What Causes Pain, Peeling And Cracking Of Fingertips?

Hi I have cracked ,peeling and painful fingertips. I have tried all kinds of lotions and some home remedies and even working hands cream. I used to have it just on my right hand and now its on both. do you have any ideas ? thanks When I went on this site it said it was free advice. I don t have money for the doctors at this time . thank you!

Hi.
As per your case history you are having palmer keratoderma.
My treatment advice is -
1. Don't scratch the lesion as it may worsen the condition.
2. Apply an emollient cream like Enmoist cream twice daily on it.
3. Apply a clobetasaol plus salicylic acid cream like dipsalic-F ointment twice a day.
4. Other treatment options are oral vitamin A, oral steroid taken only after consulting a dermatologist.
