What Causes Pain, Popping And Grinding Sensation In Wrist?

On 8-22-15 I had my thumb and wrist forced twisted and hyper extended backwards. The xray showed nothing. The mri said no tcff tear. I am still having pain on both the inside and outside of my wrist, also pain in the snuff box area (as the nurse called it). When trying to move my wrist it is popping and grinding.

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

If there is no tear to any of the ligaments involved then the pain is likely due to strain of the ligaments involved.

This would also cause the pain that you are experiencing.

Restricting movement, using anti inflammatory pain killers may help.
This includes medication such as naproxen, cataflam or ibuprofen.

I hope this helps
