What Causes Pain Post Flexor Tendon Repair On My Left Hand?

I recently had a flexor tendon repair on my left hand on the pinky. It has strted giving my a sharp pain in the area of the repair. I can still move the finger so i know the repair is still holding. But how would i know if something is wrong or if i have damaged the repair?
