What Causes Pain That Radiates From The Neck To The Shoulder Blade?
Hello, I have a pain that radiates from my neck to shoulder blade and down to elbow(funny bone) for the past 3 weeks. the pain is constant and very sharp. I had shingles vaccine 4 years ago. No rash. Doctor gave me pain patches, (flexcor) and tramadol Pain is still there and suffering through work today
Your symptoms seem to be related to cervical radiculopathy, commonly called a "pinched nerve".
It occurs when a nerve in the neck is compressed or irritated where it branches away from the spinal cord. I recommend using painkillers such as Ibuprofen three tablets a day.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
