What Causes Pain Under Left Breast With Shortness Of Breath And Wheezing?

I have been having sharp pains under my left brast. I m short of breath and wizzing. I m tired and last week I thought I had a flu bug. 12 Year s ago, I did have congestive heart failure. I do have COPD. I need to know should I got to emergency room or is the not so serious.

I can understand your situation and problem.
Yes, you should definitely go to emergency room and take treatment.
Shortness of breath, wheezing, chest pain etc are seen in both, COPD and heart failure.
So better to consult doctor immediately and get done
1. Ecg and 2d echo to rule out heart failure.
2. Chest x ray to rule out lung infection.
3. PFT (Pulmonary Function Test) to know the severity of COPD. Treatment of COPD is based on severity only.
You may need diuretics, antibiotics, inhaled bronchodilators and inhaled corticosteroid (ICS).
So don't wait at home, visit emergency room and start appropriate treatment.
