General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
I understand your query & concern.
Pain under rib cage can be due to various causes like-
- Digestion problems with gasses, constipation, hyper acidity, chronic bowel conditions like infection, infestation, celiac disease/ crohn's disease are the commonest cause.
- The problems pertaining to organs under rib cage - liver/ spleen can cause it,
- The muscles, bones n the bony cage/ spinal disc s problems affecting nerves supplying the pat may lead to it,
* what you need is a detailed check up by your family physician Followed by specific investigations & treatment OR Referral to a relevant specialist for management.
Thanks.
- lung infection or rarely heart involvement may be the cause.
