What Causes Pain Under Ribcage And Around Navel?

i have a cold and sore throat, yesterday i got terrible pain under my ribcage and above my navel, its like a contraction its a wave of pain from left to right but mainly in the centre it happens from every 5 mins to 2 an hour it woke me up at 4am. i thought it might be trapped wind but im used to that in the lower abdomen, ive taken remegel and windeeze but not working if its to do with my cold thats fine but the i am worried
