What Causes Pain Under Right Rib Cage Of A Child While Jumping?
Hi. My 11 year old son has a pain on his right side under his rib cage when he jumps on a trampoline. He doesn t get the pain any other time. He is fine in gym class and running, etc. He only gets it when he jumps on the trampoline and only on the right side.
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have pain under right rib cage of a child while jumping. Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like indigestion acid reflux , kidney stones , pancreatitis , rib damage or gallstones. The symptoms can also occur due to heart condition like angina, so also consult cardiologist. I would suggest you to eat light and non spicy , eat small and frequent meals and eat at least one hour before going to bed . Also take ibuprofen or acetaminophen for pain . If condition doesn't get well then consult gastroenterologist for proper examination. Doctor may order ultrasound along with other test and physical examination . Doctor may refer you to gastroenterologist for acid reflux problem .
Hope your concern has been resolved.
