What Causes Pain Under The Breast While On Atorvastatin And Amlodipine Besylate?

I m taking atorvastatin, amLodipine besylate & triamterene-hctz 37.5-25. One is for cholesterol, one is for hi blood & one a water pill. Having pain in back under shoulder blade cage on left side. Sometimes pain under breast, sometimes pain moves across under right shoulder blade. Pain comes and goes. Usually for inflammation in this area take Naproxen 500 mg which usually knocks it out. Now having muscle hurt across both thighs. Pain comes especially when sit. Usually goes away when lie down. Have taken 7 Coricidin in 6 days, along with several Naproxen. Don t think thi is bronchitis. Could the water pill be taking too much fluid out of body? Thank you. evelyn

Water pills may cause dehydration that may give you fatigue and tiredness howe'ver it's does not cause muscle pains.

The muscle pain may be more related RO Atorvastatin. Atorvastatin can cause muscles soreness and pain. Myositis (inflammation of muscles) is an important side effect of statins.

We check it by checking enzymes called CPK.So you can discuss this with your doctor. Sometimes such weakness and pain may be caused by Vit D deficiency.
