Hello,

Very likely the pain you describe is due to a muscle strain. This can be the case especially because the pain is worse on certain movements, cough, and breathing. You may use ibuprofen 600 mg every 6 hours after food to help with it.

If the pain is not better with Ibuprofen or it is getting any worse or you are having any other symptoms such as shortness of breath or your heart is racing, you will need to see your doctor to make sure your heart and lungs are normal.

I hope this answers your query. I remain at your disposal in case further medical assistance is needed.

Regards,
