Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I began having pain in my left rib area just under my breast just under my breast 3 yrs ago. It has progressed from occasionally to always there. My Dr. says it is neuropathy and sent me to a pain mngmt Dr. who did a intercostal pain block that provided no relief. I have had several ct scans that show a few lung nodules and a liver nodule but the dr feels these are not the problem. I have reflux, as well as problems emptying my bowels and bladder control issues that she has only addressed with OTC reflux meds. I have had a cervical neck injury many years ago and suffer from neck, back, and shoulder pain as well. I do not know where to turn to next how should I follow up with care?

What Causes Pain Under The Left Rib Cage?
Hi, This could be a neuropathy after all with the history. Why not try some physiotherapy for the same. It has worked wonders for many people. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Regards, Dr. Harshita, Ophthalmologist
