My dad had open heart 1 year ago. Was taking Effient. Doctor told o stop when med was empty. He has been off Effient for 1 week. BP 127/78 HR 56 lower back pain (burcitis) indigestion. 2 days agwe played horseshoes for 2 hours. He has complained of soreness (pain) under his rib cage. Do we need to see a doc

Hi,

Soreness at rib cage post vigorous physical activity in your case needs rest. As slightest of injury to rib cage take time to heal. Wait for another week look for symptoms to subside. Take some anti-inflammatory drugs till then.
