What Causes Pain Under The Rib Cage With Difficulty In Breathing?

my side a few days ago my upper right side under my rib cage started hurting it was only hurting a little but then it hurt to breath it is now to a point where it hurts to move my last cycle was a month ago and tubes are tied I do not have my a pendix and I have q history of sisit and ulcers I'm a 36 female and I'm at 158p if this helps should I go to the er

Hi thanks for asking question.
Here are few possibilities.
1.It could be simple musculoskeletal pain.
Take simple analgesic for that.Hot compression for 5 to 10 minute can be helpful.During sleep take adequate posture.
Avoid heavy weight lifting.
2.second if you have viral flu like symptoms like headache, cough, fever , cold then muscular pain can occur.symptomatic management done for it.
3. If still pain increasing then respiratory causes has to be ruled out.chest x ray helpful.Sometimes bronchitis like disease may present if cough and fever present.
Pulmonary function test helpful for that.
