What Causes Pain Under The Ribs On The Left Side?

I m having a dull ache in my left side just under my ribs. Started a few days ago. Only activity out of the ordinary was a night of drinking last Friday. I haven t drank in at least a year I m 64 , female and in ok health. Not a great amount of activity. A bit overweight. My email is YYYY@YYYY

I have evaluated your query thoroughly
it seems like muscular pain
take ibuprofen and paracetamol combination 2times a day
apply diclofenac spray at pain site 2-3times in a day
apply warm water bag application at pain site
after 2day if no relief on pain consult the doctor
don't drink till pain relief
