What Causes Pain Up My Right Arm Into My Shoulder And Neck?

Last week I did cross fit, followed by golfing (first time in many years) and three hours of playing bean bags. The next day I had severe pain up my right arm into my shoulder and back or my neck. Symptoms slowly improved throughout the week. Saturday I again went to cross fit and Sunday and today, I have had swelling in my right arm and some pain around the shoulder shocked. Should I rest the arm for a few days or go in to be seen.

Hi,

You have muscular spasm due to strenuous exercise. you need to get analgesics available over the counter like acetaminophen and ibuprofen. Some local application will also help. If no improvement then try physiotherapy.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Wishing you a speedy recovery.
