What Causes Pain While Bending Knees?

I m a male and 36 years old and have a fairly active job. In the last 6 months I ve been suffering with my knees. When I ve been standing ironing for an hour it s extremely painfull to bend my knees. Also my knees do groan and creek when kneeling on floors

It is possible that you may have early arthritic changes to the knees especially since you are physically active.

X rays of the knees can check for changes and blood tests can check for arthritis such as rheumatoid or SLE.

The use of anti inflammatory pain killers such as ibuprofen or naproxen may help.

The use of chondroitin and glucosamine may help as well.
