What Causes Pain While Flexing The Foot Upwards?

While playing racquetball this morning I sprinted and felt pain in the top of my heel towards the right side. I play with a couple of doctors and they said could be Achilles tendinitis. No inflammation or redness just pain while walking or flexing foot upwards.
