General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi

Uncomplicated diverticulitis is treated with dietary changes ,pain killers.Antibiotics are prescribed in case of infections.

Increase in pain since last night needs to be investigated to rule out any complications such as abscess ,fistula or intestinal obstruction.Ct abdomen may be taken to rule out complication and any other coexisting cause of abdominal pain.

Hope that was helpful.Let me know if i can assist you further.

Regards
