What Causes Painful And Heavy Menstrual Bleeding While On Famynor Pills?

I have been taking white famynor pills for four months since the beginning of April until August 10th, on 11 August I started taking the Red pill. Started my periods on the 14th of August, they very very heavy flow with big clots and very painful pains. I change a super plus pad every hour, what could be the problem?

Hi I think it can be a side effect of continuous intake of pills. You can take some medicines like tranexamic acid to stop the bleeding. If bleeding is heavy and painful over next 2 to 3 months, get a thyroid profile and prolactin level and a ultrasound done to see uterus and ovaries to find out the cause. Hope it helps.
