What Causes Painful And Swollen Joint On Thumb Area?
My joint on left hand thumb area is so painful and swollen. It aches Dailey sometimes to the point of me crying in pain. The joint swells to the size of a golf ball. Can t open hand or use hand. Could I need to see s surgeon to have something done to that joint. My hands are becoming distorted looking. Can t use hand for much

I suggest to do:
-An xray of the hand
-rheumatoid factor level
-PCR level for further evaluation.
