What Causes Painful And Swollen Wrists And Fingers?

I am 75..female and still teaching...for my 75th birthday in Sept...my friends bought an ipad..I used it a lot and got tendonitis in both arms...shoulder down...mid November..have been treated with anti inflammatories and pain killers...lately have been sent back to work and trying to manage without the pills..yesterday..had pain..and this morning have a hurting wrist, fingers and swollen..is this related or something new?
