What Causes Painful Arm Post Pelvic MRI?

** hi there i had a pelvic MRI done on tuesday. they put an IV in my arm near the crease towards the elbow and then released a dye into the iv part way through. not where the IV was in but a little higher up than the needle prick my arm is red and very tender. if i bend my arm it really hurts...what can i do to make this better? **
