Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi, my name is Chelle. I am just now 45- about two weeks ago my left bicept started to hurt badly. Especially if I lifted it close to shoulder range, even lying down... I thought that was strange. Nonetheless, my lower back has been aching for a few months. My pain management doctor had sent me to Physical Therapy (although on January 1st, my insurance changed and they do not accept that insurance)... so it goes on, I see him in February again. I am concerned, it is my left bicept - should I be? Respectfully; Chelle Geel
HI Well come to HCM This could be due to muscle spasm and second could be due to some infection and this need to be differentiated and for this you need to get done the routine blood test with imaging study of Bicep muscle, till then this can be tried with Tab Chlorzoxazone with Ibuprofen twice in day, hope this information helps, take care.
