What Causes Painful Bowel Movement Along With Excessive Sweating?

My 2 year old has always been a dramatic pooper but now I m wondering if it s normal. He strains really hard and cries. He will also sweat when trying to go. His poop isn t hard, it s more of a playdough/peanut butter consistency. We are worried that this will also affect potty training as he is afraid to go poop already.

The symptoms seem to be related to a gastrointestinal infection. I suggest you to do:
-a complete blood count
-a stool test to confirm the diagnosis.

Meanwhile he should take probiotics daily. For the pain he can take antispasmodics such as Buscopan.
