What Causes Painful Bowel Movements?

Last week I noticed pain while trying to poop. I thought it was hemorrhoids or maybe an anal fissure. I used many creams and witch hazel and that just cause sever burning. There was a pimple on the inside of my but cheek that I shaved over. I had a swollen lymph node last week also but it went away. I went to the gyn and she did a visual exam and said it was herpes she also did a swab but the results aren’t in yet. I’ve been sleeping with the same person since October and no body else 6 months prior. Could this just be an irritation of some sort rather than herpes??
