I have a shingles outbreak on my forehead, I usually get sores on my gluteal area , this is new, I also have pain and bumps under the skin right below my ear, could that be shingles too.... what is the implication of sores on my forehead. How do I treat it.?

Hi and welcome to HCM,
Shingles, or herpes zoster infection, usually follow the path of the nerves, so the lesions of shingles will occur along the distribution of the branches to the nerves with it has affected. In your case the trigeminal, or the 5th cranial nerve could be involved, which manifests as sores on the forehead.
You should also have your eye examined, in case you have redness or irritation in your eyes.
Treatment is by antiviral medications, like acyclovir, and topical application of soothing lotions.
All the very best health for you and your family!!!
