What Causes Painful Bumps In The Inside Of Buttock Cheek?

Okay so very awkward situation. I had a hard bump in the inside of my butt cheek and it was hurting and I thought it was just a pimple so I squeezed it only to find out that the open wound rubbed on my other but cheek causing another bump in the same spot as the first one but on the other cheek. it s just red and feels like there s a small rock inside. it s very painful and been there for about 3 days. it s embarrassing and I don t want to go in and have it looked at. do you have any idea what it is and what I could do?

Dermatologist 's  Response
hello. your history is suggestive of furuncle. it's a bacterial infection. you need to take a course of antibiotics to clear out the infection. take
tab amoxyclav 625 mg thrice daily
tab diclofenac twice daily
mupirocin cream twice daily
your pain and size of the lesions should start improving within 2 days of starting the treatment. in this case continue the treatment for 7 days.
in case there is no response in 2 days then you need to consult a surgeon.
thanks.
