What Causes Painful Burning Feeling While Urinating After Intercourse During Menstruation?

i m from india. i had sex with my wife during her periods. since then while passing urine it is paining and burning very badly. got a routine urine check done and it says pus cells 18-20. waiting for my culture report. but the pain and burning is really bad. can u help

Hello and welcome to HCM,
Burning urination accompanied by pain and presence of 18-20 pus cells is suggestive of urinary tract infection (UTI).
A urine culture and drug sensitivity report will identify the micro-organism causing the infection and the drugs most appropriate to treat the infection.
You will wait for atleast 2days to get the final report.
In addition, do not practice unprotected sex till the infection clears away.
Your wife also requires screening since she can also have UTI.
