What Causes Painful Burning Sensation Inside Vagina?

I am experiencing a real painful burning sensation inside my vagina. I have no itching at all, there is no smell and I do not have any discharge. The only thing I feel is preasure on the bladder when I wee, but this has been going on for over six weeks now. It also hurts of course when my partner penetrates. Is there anything I should try to make this dissapear.
