What Causes Painful Cramps In The Legs During Periods?

i have painful craps in my legs during my period so painful i can hardley walk also i get the pain in my lower back is this normal? i have sufferd with prblems with urine infections since i was little and i have scaring on my kidneys due to this i also feel the pain in my side when im on my period around the area of my kidney on the right side.
