General & Family Physician, Dr. Nishad BN's Response
Hi Thank you for asking HCM. I have gone through your query. Your problem can be most likely due to ulnar nerve irritation. Giving much pressure on elbow while typing by pressing on table can compress and irritate ulnar nerve. It is better to have an examination with an orthopedician to rule out this. Ring and little finger will be affected by this. Corticosteroids, drugs which give relaxation to nerve like gabapentin, neurotropics like methylcobalamin and occupational therapy will be helpful for this. Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear. Thanks.
