What Causes Painful Foot With History Of Foot Injury?

I injured my foot about a year ago, I m not sure if i broke any bones... I unfortunately didn t go to the doctor, i treated it at home. (yea, i know... Stupid) Lately I ve been having MAJOR pain in the same foot. Could I have caused severe damage by not going to the hospital? If so, what should i do?
