What Causes Painful Inflammation In Between The Shin And Heel?

My mom has taken some aleave and a prescription pill. I am unsure of the prescription. But the reaction she got was that the following day she could barely get out of the bed. Her right leg hurt really bad and that it was sore and sensitive to the touch, especially around her heal. It is day 3, although not as bad the inner part of her right leg from the shin to her heal is inflamed red and a little warm to the touch.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello and welcome to Healthcamagic.
This looks like plantar fasciitis which is inflammation of foot capsules. Give your feet a rest. Cut back on activities that make your foot hurt. Try not to walk or run on hard surfaces.
To reduce pain and swelling, try putting ice on your heel. Or take an over-the-counter pain reliever like ibuprofen (such as Advil or Motrin) or naproxen (such as Aleve).
I hope I have answered your query. I wish you a nice day.
