What Causes Painful Insect Bites All Over Chest And Back?

I have tiny black insects biting me, I thought it was head lice but I have bites allover my chest and back now. What could these bugs be? I have used RID, vinegar, tea tree oil and they are not going away. I also bombed my home with bed bug and lice bombs and washed all my bedding ect. My neck and shoulders are hurting as well. It seems that they either attach or are under the skin on my back.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Some bugs & insect bites are painful & may cause swellings or even affect the lymphatic system. Apply calamine lotion or Soframycin cream to get relieved. You can apply vinegar also. Take non-sedating antihistamines (Levocetirizine/Allegra.)

Take Acetaminophen (Tylenol) for relief from pain. It should get well. If it does not, visit ER, you need antibiotics because of the spread of the infection.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Nupur K,
