What Causes Painful Intercourse After Medical Abortion?

Hi, I performed an abortion at home on Friday March 3rd. Its been 2 weeks since then. I used 400mg doses of vaginal misoprostol every 3 hours from 8:45pm to 2:45pm. I stopped bleeding after a week and 2 days so i attempted to have sex but have severe pain as soon as the penis touched my skin which increased when penetration was attempted, is this normal?

Hi, I think you should get yourself examined by a gynecologist. It is not normal to have such pains during intercourse even after abortion. It can be due to some infections.
