What Causes Painful Intercourse And Recurring Pain In Lower Abdomen?
i am having difficulties with sexual intercourse because it hurts so bad. the pain in my lower stomach comes and goes, but most the time when i sit down i get a pain in my lower stomach and a sense of heaviness both with getting up from sitting down as well. i went to a doc and he told me its not a uti or bladder infection and that i needed to lose weight. i told him i had already lost 40 pounds and the pain and heaviness is getting worse.

You can get such symptoms in pelvic inflammation. It can be detected by gynecological internal checkup with few investigations like deep vaginal swab culture/usg pelvis to confirm the cause & find any other problem in genital organs. Pinpointing the cause & specific treatment would relieve you.
