What Causes Painful Joints And Swollen Neck Glands Post Treatment For Malaria?

Hi..can I find answers to my health problem? I was treated for malaria and fever recently.I had serious headache at night and cold during early morning..After treatment I got better though I didn t finish the medication as I thought am stronger. The problem am having now is pains around my joints eg:knee,neck,spine,waist and bone and muscles. What drugs can be perfect for me or what solutions do u prescribe. My neck sides are swollen with serious pains Thanks Frank

Hi,

This is reactive arthritis and is pretty common, just use hot fomentation, take anti-inflammatory, apply Diclofenac gel, it will take sometime to settle.
