What Causes Painful Knee Cracks?

Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ? Please type your query here. Ok I'm young and my knee has a huge crack so to say in it and it hurts so bad when I touch the area. Also when I move my knee it cracks and grinds really loud. Any ideas on what is wrong with it?
