What Causes Painful Lump Above C Section Scar?

I had an elective c section 3 months ago due to baby s health condition . Shortly after I noticed a painful lump above my scar right side, about a marble size it s not red, but affects the clothes I wear and some daily activities like bending down or sexual intercourse , the pain is always there and some times becomes severe. I also get bad cramps on the side of the lump . Any ideas on what it could be?

The lump could be a wound granuloma. Have it checked by a doctor. If it is just plain collection of fluid or pus it can be drained by a doctor. It can also be resolved by taking antibiotics. If it is an organized mass of tissue, it might have to be excised and the edges approximated. Thank you.
