General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

Painful lump at the back of head with headache indicates possible inflammatory lesion of soft tissue at the nape of neck or surrounding areas. The possibility of sebaceous cyst is of prime concern and the same has to be evaluated with the clinical examination by your primary care physician.

This platform can also help you, by engaging in private consultation which has facility to attach photographs, images and reports as an attachment option during discussion and consultation with the doc.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
