Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain it seems that you are suffering from upper respiratory tract infection also known as common cold and the swelling under the jaw seems to be due to swollen lymph nodes secondary to infection causing Reactionary Lymphadinitis and you need not to worry about it as gradually when the infection will subside the lymph nodes will also regress..
As of now start taking antibiotics like Augmentin or Levofloxacin, anti-inflammatory painkiller like Ibuprofen, do warm saline gargles, steam inhalations and use a humidifier in your room.Drink plenty of warm fluids and take soft diet..
Take ample of rest and avoid chilled foods..
Do warm compresses over the lymph nodes for relief..

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards.
