What Causes Painful Lump In Jawline While Suffering From Neuropathy?

I have pain and loss of movement and strength in both hands, loss of sensory in touch, trigger fingers on both hands. I also have nodules in the palms at the finger joints. Was diagnosed with neuropathy of both upper extremities. For 2 weeks now I have had glass-like shards (some single small and some thread like) coming to the surface of my skin, at the corner of my mouth. 2 days ago I discovered a painful lump on my jaw-line. It has doubled in size and quite painful to touch. I was told, check for Gout!!!! Could this be Gout,?
