What Causes Painful Lump Inside The Scrotum?

My husband has a very large extremely painful lump inside his scrotum. It is increasing in size and pain. Previously we have been able to get a bloody pus like substance from it. It has now quit draining and continues to increase in size. It is becoming difficult for him to walk. He has a doctor s appointment for Monday. Should he wait or go to the ER?

Hi,
It seems that he might be having some infection in scrotal sac or infection in skin leading to an abscess formation.
Wait till you consult surgeon and get it diagnosed.
After examination, line of treatment can be decided.
Meanwhile clean the wound with antiseptic lotion and dress it with antibiotic cream.
Ok and take care.
