What Causes Painful Lump On The Clitoris?

I have a large lump, about pea sized to the left of my prepuce clitoris you can quite clearly see it, especially if I spread the skin out and even if I don t spread the skin out you can see this side is bigger that the right side, it only hurts if I apply pressure to it. I am also sexually active, what could this be and do I need to be worried?

Hello and thanks for your query.

I shall make an effort to provide you with good professional recommendations specific to your questions.

Based on the information provided by you it does not appear to be STD but more likely small cyst or infected gland.
As you have not mentioned the duration and assuming it is of short duration, give it time use warm most packs / even sitz bath for comfort. I advice you to avoid squeezing or tempering it.
Lumps are difficult to diagnose without examining them. So only way to be sure of the cause would be to arrange for a doctor to examine you. I advice you to see doctor if lot persists after a week.

Yet again, I duly appreciate your query to me, I do hope that have found something useful to help you and I shall be glad to answer any further apprehensions.

Sincerely,
I find this answer helpful
